About HeavyStitch Finder

HeavyStitch Finder is run by a lifelong veteran of the heavy-duty sewing industry and a production and factory specialist, who has spent a career on the floor and behind the scenes helping industrial sewing operations across North America run better. Based in the USA and supplying equipment to industrial sewing machine companies, they know firsthand which shops can really keep a heavy-duty line running.

If you sew canvas, leather, sails, webbing, tarps or upholstery, you know the problem: general "sewing repair near me" results are full of vacuum stores and quilting shops that won't touch a walking-foot, a 441-class stitcher or a long-arm. This site lists only the dealers, mechanics and parts suppliers that work on industrial machines.

How listings are built

Version 1 has 159 listings compiled from public sources: manufacturer dealer pages (JUKI, Dürkopp Adler, Pfaff Industrial, Seiko, Cowboy, Cobra), the SouthStar Supply mechanic list, and business websites. Every listing links to its sources and has a confidence level. We only show a brand, machine class or service when a source says so.

Corrections

Shops can claim or correct their listing for free.

Advertising

Sponsorships and featured listings will be clearly labeled and never change the order of the free listings within a state.
